As the year draws to a close, we wanted to reach out with our warmest wishes and take a look at what has been a meaningful year for all of us at Staffing at KT Black. It’s been a year full of new milestones and treasured partnerships, and we’re grateful for each of you who has trusted us to help build your teams and accomplish big things together. Thank you for making us a part of your world — we couldn’t do it without you!
This year we’re especially proud of the achievements led by Michelle Davila and her team. With 30 years in the industry, she’s guided her unit to become our top revenue earners in 2023. Team members Crystal Dominguez, Maria Chavez, Mariah Davila, and Seth Davis are all President’s Club recipients for the second consecutive year and a vital part of our success. Crystal’s ability to handle multiple roles and Mariah’s coordination of complex security staffing keep things running smoothly. Maria Chavez, with over 20 years in staffing and known for her “fill and bill” motto, also had a record-breaking year, earning her a spot in the President’s Club. Mashayla Alvarez just completed her first year as a coordinator in our Lubbock office, handling all our hospital, maintenance, and general staffing demands with ease. Casey Mayo brings fresh energy to our skilled trades staffing roles. Seth Davis in Amarillo has expanded our regional reach and community involvement, while New Mexico-based members like Will Cordero and Angela Dobell add expertise across sectors. Will’s record-breaking year earned him another spot in the President’s Club, and Angela’s dedication shines in the many hats she wears daily. New faces like Jasmine Cepeda in Amarillo and Alicia Lopez in DFW have each stepped up, helping KT Black meet diverse client needs with enthusiasm and skill.
Another exceptional leader, Jon Silvey, has become a powerhouse in KT|Black since joining us in early 2022. His rapid rise to Unit Vice President shows his steadfast commitment to growth and excellence, along with a hands-on leadership approach that his team truly values. Jon’s motto, “Failure is not an option,” resonates throughout his unit, inspiring his entire team, with long-time members like Jason Roach revitalizing old markets, and Heather Huff and Heather Lewis achieving their second year in the President’s Club. Newer team members like Amy McCann, who recently earned the President’s Award, and Nathan Bernthal, who’s building strong client connections, have strengthened our success. What can we say about our awesome coordinator Justin Martin, who has been with us for many years - he is what we refer to as one of the “Old Dogs” of KT|Black. His experience, industry knowledge, and connections are instrumental in our success. We’re excited to welcome recent additions like Ellie Eggleston and Giovanna Garybush, whose energy and dedication have already made a positive impact.
Across all our offices, from Lubbock’s record-breaking staffing for Texas Tech University athletics to our increased community involvement in Amarillo, KT|Black Staffing continues to grow and support our clients with excellence. We’re particularly proud to announce that we received the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) certification this year – a hallmark of our commitment to diversity and leadership in the staffing world. As we plan for 2025, we look forward to strengthening the relationships we share and to the opportunities to grow together.
Thank you for being such a vital part of our KT|Black family. We’re honored to work with you, and we look forward to even more success and shared accomplishments in the year ahead. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a bright New Year filled with joy, peace, and prosperity!
Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a successful year ahead in 2025!
